I would like to thank the people at the Heinold & Feller/Firestone in Valparaiso for taking excellent care of my wife. On a trip coming home late from Chicago, she noticed that the battery light was on. She called me and I told her to find a safe spot to pull over and call AAA. She called back to tell me that the tow truck driver arrived and offered to drop her off at the nearest hotel.
Steve Pondo, your employee, had her car fixed by 11 am the next morning. He called her at the hotel, and had someone pick her up.

On Monday, August 15, 2005, I brought my Wheel Horse tractor in to have an electrical problem taken care of. I also left my utility trailer to have nitrogen put in the tires.

In a world where criticism seems to outweigh compliments, it is vitally important to me to let you know that many compliments are due to one of your own. I am writing this letter in regards to a service technician of yours whom I only know by his name badge “Jeff”.
Please let me explain. I was in your parking lot waiting to pick up a co-worker after dropping off her care for tire service. Jeff was pulling a car into the service bay, when he backed up and asked me to roll down the window. He said my tires looked low, and to pull in so he could check them. I wasn’t aware the tires were low, as it was a new vehicle, and had no idea what pressure they should be.
Jeff checked them, and they did indeed need more air. He thoroughly explained why this was important, and what pressure I should keep them at.
Jeff could have must gone about his work, but instead he went out of his way to address this potential problem, even though I was just there to pick up a friend.
Please pass my compliments and gratitude on to Jeff. I will definitely consider using your services purely because of this simple act of kindness.

Dear Store Owner/Manager,
I am writing this letter in sincere appreciation of service rendered by two of your employees.
I brought my lawn tractor in for repairs. It was almost closing time when I called, and I was driving from LaPorte. Your service manager waited for me well past your store’s closing time
He was very helpful and took the time to explain the possible problem and what might be required to fix it, and that it might take an entire week. A day later I was contacted and my repaired tractor was ready to be picked up.
I just wanted to acknowledge these two employees’ efforts. Such service and considerate people are often overlooked and take for granted. These guys were very polite and efficient.
